From Washington's first vineyards come its most distinctive wines
Newhouse Family Vineyards works to produce exceptional grapes that highlight the characteristics of the Snipes Mountain region of Washington State. Since settling in the Yakima Valley more than 100 years ago, generations of the Newhouse family have lived, played and worked among the vineyards on the flanks of Snipes Mountain. These vineyards, home to the first vines planted in the state, draw upon the distinctive soil and climate of Snipes Mountain to produce wines that are bold and reflect the character and terroir of the region, much like the Newhouse family itself.
